Key facts about our insurance services.

1. The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA)
The FCA is the independent watchdog that regulates financial services and requires us to give you this document which you can use to decide if our services are right for you.

2. Whose products do we offer?
We offer products from a range of Insurers for Employers Liability, Public Liability, Contractors All Risks, Plant All Risks, Property Owners, Commercial Combined, Material Damage, Consequential Loss, Computer, Engineering, Mechanical Breakdown, Fidelity Guarantee, Latent Defects, Accident and/or Sickness, Group and Individual Travel, Group and Individual Health, Bonds, Restrictive Covenant Indemnities, Defective Title Indemnities, Marine, Professional Indemnity, Directors & Officers Liability, Legal Expenses, Uninsured Loss Recovery, Livestock, Terrorism, Private and Commercial Motor including Fleet, Residential Property, Private Household.

3. Which service will we provide to you?
We will advise and make a recommendation for you after we have assessed your needs for all classes of general insurance.

4. What will you have to pay to us for our services?
We will advise you at quotation stage if a fee will be payable by you to MPW for the provision of our services. We will also specify if any separate fee needs to be paid by you to the insurer we are recommending in addition to the premium they have quoted.

5. Who regulates us?
MPW Insurance Brokers Limited, 7/8 Tolherst Court, Turkey Mill, Ashford Road, Maidstone, Kent, ME14 5SF is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. Our FCA Register number is 304188.

Our permitted business is advising on, arranging, dealing in, and assisting in the administration and performance of non-investment insurance contracts.

6. What to do if you have a complaint
If you wish to register a complaint, please contact us in writing at: MPW Insurance Brokers Limited, 7/8 Tolherst Court, Turkey Mill, Ashford Road, Maidstone, Kent, ME14 5SF or by phone: 01622 683913.

If you cannot settle your complaint with us, you may be entitled to refer it to the Financial Services Ombudsman Service

7. Are we covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS)?
We are covered by the FSCS. You may be entitled to compensation from the scheme if we cannot meet our obligations. This depends on the type of business and the circumstances of the claim.

Insurance advising and arranging is covered for 90% of the claim with no upper limit. For compulsory classes of insurance (eg third party motor), insurance advising and arranging is covered for 100% of the claim, without any upper limit.
