First of the 30 challenges for MPW’s 30th Anniversary

18th February 2020

Eight brave souls from MPW…….

Eight brave souls from MPW joined 141 other runners who took on the bad weather and challenging conditions to run the Maidstone River Run on Sunday. The 8.6K course was mucky and slippery, you had to watch every step to avoid injury. The herd of cows half way along also helped keep everyone focused!

Even though this was the first competitive run for most of the MPW group, great news is that everyone finished the race with better than expected times.

Our lead runner was Senior Claims Handler Mark Sanford, recording a fantastic time of 38m19s, coming in 22nd place.

Well done to all who took part, in what is the first event of our 30 Event Charity Pledge, as MPW heads towards its 30th Birthday next year. Watch this space for further news!
