Firefighter Strike Action

Firefighters in England and Wales will strike again over government attacks on pensions on 14th July the Fire Brigades Union (FBU) has announced.

With a further Firefighters strike planned this week, we are recommending clients not to carry out hot works or confined space entry during this period as response in the event of an incident may be limited.

Sites need to ensure they have appropriate controls and responses in place to mitigate any issues that occur during this period of limited fire fighter response.’
