Great Day at The National Federation of Roofing Contractors AGM

We look forward to this annual event – it’s a great opportunity to find out the latest NFRC developments, network with fellow members and be on hand to offer advice to roofing contractors. It also provides the ideal setting for trade and associate members to meet up in an informal setting

Each year we attend this event with guests – as well as taking a table, we exhibit and promote our insurance solutions for roofing contractors and offer valuable insurance advice.

The regional chairman opened events with a review of the federation, new appointments and talk of future activities. The chairman of NFRC then had a few words, which was followed by a charity appeal and a presentation of safety awards.

Congratulations were in order for our clients Clarke Roofing Southern Ltd and ICS who both received gold awards for health and safety. And a further well done to our guest, Ian Pickard, on his contribution to the attainment of these prestigious awards.

During the day a massive £7,000 was raised for the Freddy Farmer Foundation – a specialised physiotherapy centre for cerebral palsy and serious mobility problems. The work this charity does is amazing and we were thankful to be able to support following a collection of table donations

As always the AGM was a great day – it was nicely rounded off with an afternoon at the races, enabling us all put a flutter on our favourite horses! With varying degrees of success!
